The 90-D Compac On-the-Wall from Technea is an energy-efficient decentralized ventilation unit with heat recovery (WTW). Thanks to the demand-controlled ventilation technology and a capacity of up to 90 m3/h, moisture and mold spots are a thing of the past and you create a healthy indoor climate with sufficient fresh air. Also available in an In-the-Wall variant.
- Compact decentralised balanced ventilation unit with demand-controlled ventilation and heat recovery
- Air renewal capacity up to 90m3 per hour
- Heat recovery with efficiency up to 90%
- Whisper quiet with 35 dB(A) at 80m3/h
- To be installed on the wall, only two holes in the facade wall are required
- Optional fine dust filter to combat air pollution
- Circular design, parts can be replaced separately
DEMAND-CONTROLLED VENTILATION
The 90-D Compac ventilation systems provide fully demand-driven ventilation. This means that they automatically ensure that the amount of air that is exchanged is matched to the quality of the indoor air. The volume increases when the CO₂ level in the room increases or when there is a risk of condensation. Are the air conditions good? Then the device automatically adjusts and scales the refresh volume down. The 90-D Compac On-the-Wall also ensures that the amount of outgoing and incoming air always remains in balance, even when the wind is blowing hard outside.
SUPPLIED READY FOR INSTALLATION
The 90-D Compac On-the-Wall comes as a complete package for installation, with everything you need, from pipes and insulation to grilles and mounting hardware. It also includes demand-driven sensors for CO₂, humidity and temperature, along with a WiFi antenna for data readout. An ultrafine dust filter is optionally available.
OPTIONAL ULTRAFINE DUST FILTER
Sensitive to particulate matter or pollen? As an optional extra, the 90-D Compac On-the-Wall can be supplied with an ultra-fine dust filter (ePM1-70), which not only protects the heat recovery unit against dirt, but also makes the air in the house even healthier. The filter even removes ultra-fine particles of particulate matter from the air, which often consist of viruses, nanoparticles and exhaust gases.
COPPER WIRE HEAT EXCHANGER
The ventilation units have a patented heat exchanger, which consists of 5 kilometers of thin copper wire. This heat exchanger ensures optimal heat or cold exchange between the outgoing and incoming air flows. This way you can optimally ventilate the room on colder days with minimal heat loss and keep the heat outside as much as possible on warmer days. In addition, the ventilation system also has a summer night ventilation function, which allows you to bring in cool air in the evening and night after a hot day and remove the warm indoor air to cool the home.
MODULAR DESIGN AND EASY MAINTENANCE
The ventilation unit is designed with a circular economy in mind, making it easy to reuse parts. When designing the 90-D Compac On-the-Wall, the lifespan of the various components was also taken into account. Unlike other ventilation systems, the components of the Compac can be dismantled and replaced. This makes repair and reuse of these parts, or even their use in other products, easy. In addition, it makes maintenance even easier, because you can easily disassemble and clean the components.
FLOW RATE AND NOISE SPECIFICATIONS
Thanks to the sound-insulating door, the 90-D Compac ventilation unit is even whisper quiet at a flow rate of 80 m³ per hour. Is the air quality okay and does the fan not have to work hard? Then you will notice little or nothing of its sound.
Some information at a glance:
| 35 m³ / hr (7 l/s) | 25 dB(A) |
| 65 m³ / hr (15 l/s) | 30 dB(A) |
| 80 m³ / hr (21 l/s) | 35 dB(A) |
ON-THE-WALL AND IN-THE-WALL
Our 90-D Compac decentralized ventilation units are available in an On-the-Wall and an In-the-Wall version. The 90-D Compac On-the-Wall is a surface-mounted model and does not need to be built into the wall. No supply or exhaust pipes are required for the ventilation units, making installation much easier than with conventional ventilation systems with heat recovery (WTW).
WIFI CONNECTION AND APP
The included WiFi antenna allows you to connect the ventilation system to the internet, giving you access to software updates and the Fresh-r web application. In the app you can see the air quality in your room, how much volume is ventilated and how much heat has been recovered. You also have insight into how much energy you save with the heat recovery unit.
FAQs
How much electricity does the Fresh-r use?
On average, the Fresh-r uses approximately 10 Watts of electricity. About as much as an LED lamp. But the Fresh-r saves a lot more energy through heat recovery, so you have to use less heating.
Can I open the window?
Naturally! The Fresh-r is not affected by this at all and will automatically ventilate less. If it is less than 18 degrees outside, it is better to keep the windows closed. The Fresh- provides enough fresh air and you save energy.
Can the curtain hang in front of the Fresh-r?
No, then the ventilation does not work or does not work properly. A small part is OK, but make sure most of the Fresh-r remains visible. On average, the Fresh-r uses approximately 10 Watts of electricity. About as much as an LED lamp. But the Fresh-r saves a lot more energy through heat recovery, so you have to use less heating.
How do I turn the ventilation up or down?
You don’t have to do that yourself. The sensors in the Fresh-r automatically ensure that there is more ventilation if necessary, or less if possible. If you want to make the Fresh-r louder or softer yourself, take a look at the user manual.
